Is it legal to clone a website?
Only publish a site you own or have permission to use. Site Copy can preserve original text, images and brand assets; it does not automatically replace them or grant rights to them. Backend functionality is not included.
What do the free credits get me?
New verified accounts receive 30 free credits, enough for about 10 pages at 3 credits each. No card is needed. Your first copy starts with the entry page, and you can add pages up to your balance. You get a Site Copy preview, without source editing. Credits for failed copies and for pages that could not be delivered return automatically.
How much does it cost?
Copying costs 3 credits per page. New verified accounts get 30 free credits. Hosting uses 300 credits per site each month. Host starts at $12 a month, billed annually. Editable Rebuild is a separate service; contact us to confirm its scope.
Why only a URL? Can't I upload a screenshot?
A URL gives us the real HTML, CSS, fonts and responsive breakpoints — a screenshot can only be guessed at. URL-only also lets us clone entire multi-page sites. It's a deliberate choice for quality.
Do you clone the backend too?
No — we clone the visual design and front-end structure. Backend logic, databases and proprietary functionality are not copied.
Can you build the whole site for me?
Yes, through Editable Rebuild: we rebuild the site as editable source and can rebrand it with your logo, colors and content. Contact us with your URL and requirements; it is scoped separately and not included in Site Copy or Hosting.
